Fertility & Pregnancy

GENTLE, GROUNDED, AND STAGE-SPECIFIC

My fertility and pregnancy services are tailored to your body and your season of life.

This is one of my specialties for a very personal reason: I’ve been there too!

Conception, Fertility & Pregnancy Support

I experienced my own challenges trying to conceive, and that journey is one of the main reasons I chose to study Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. It opened my eyes to how deeply the body, hormones, nervous system, and emotional stress are connected, I understand how vulnerable this time  can feel—and how important it is to feel truly supported, listened to, and guided with a clear plan.

Whether you’re just beginning your conception journey or you’ve been trying for a while, my goal is to help you feel supported, clear, and confident—with a plan tailored to your body and your season of life.

Best time to book acupuncture for fertility

Timing matters—because your hormones and physiology shift throughout the cycle, and we can support your body differently depending on the phase you’re in.

If you are trying to conceive naturally:
Best time #1: Days 4–14 of your cycle

After your period ends and leading up to ovulation is a key window to support healthy follicle development, ovulation, and optimal circulation to the reproductive organs.

Best time #2: Right after ovulation

This is an implantation window, and this phase is especially important for supporting the uterine environment, encouraging healthy blood flow to the uterus, and helping the body feel calm and receptive as implantation occurs.

If you’re undergoing IVF, IUI, embryo transfer, or donor egg cycle:

Ideally, plan for weekly treatments starting 6–8 weeks prior to your egg retrieval, embryo transfer, or insemination. This allows time to support stress resilience, blood flow, sleep quality, inflammation balance, and overall hormonal signaling—so your body feels as supported as possible during treatment.

If you’re not sure where you are in your cycle
— or your cycles are irregular —

don’t worry.

We will map out the best schedule together!

You may benefit from fertility support if you are:

  • Trying to conceive naturally

  • Preparing for or currently doing IVF, IUI, or embryo transfer

  • Working through PCOS, endometriosis, luteal phase issues, irregular cycles, or low progesterone

  • Experiencing recurrent miscarriage or loss

  • Concerned about egg quality, low AMH, or advanced maternal age

  • Managing autoimmune patterns, inflammation, stress, or burnout

  • Wanting whole-person support during pregnancy or postpartum

Acupuncture for fertility: evidence-based support

Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to support reproductive health, and modern research continues to show that it can be a meaningful support for fertility—both naturally and alongside IVF/IUI.

  • Acupuncture to support hormone signaling, circulation, ovulation, and nervous system regulation

  • Chinese herbal medicine (when appropriate) to strengthen the body and regulate patterns.

Fertility Care Designed Around You

Fertility and pregnancy care is never one-size-fits-all. Your plan may include:

Acupuncture may help by supporting:

  • Healthy ovulation and cycle regulation

  • Blood flow to the reproductive organs

  • Hormonal signaling and stress response

  • Sleep quality and nervous system regulation

  • Inflammation and whole-body resilience during treatment

When you’re going through fertility treatment, it’s not just about procedures.— it’s about supporting your body to respond as well as possible.

  • Lifestyle + nutrition support to help your body feel safe, nourished, and resilient

  • Cycle tracking + timing support (so you know what to focus on, and when)

  • Functional medicine guidance to support inflammation, gut health, nutrient status, and hormone balance

IVF/IUI SUPPORT

If you’re undergoing fertility treatment, acupuncture can be a powerful complement—helping support circulation, stress physiology, sleep, and overall hormonal signaling. For best results, I typically recommend starting 6–8 weeks before retrieval or transfer, or ideally 3 months prior when possible (to support the follicle and egg development window).

pregnancy & postpartum care

Pregnancy is a major transition—physically, emotionally, and energetically. I offer supportive care throughout pregnancy to help you feel more stable, rested, and comfortable, including common concerns like:

  • Nausea, fatigue, digestion issues

  • Anxiety, stress, sleep disruption

  • Pain, tension, headaches

  • Preparation for labor and recovery

Why the “90-day foundation” matters

One of the most important things I teach my fertility patients is this: The best time to start is at least 90 days before trying to conceive. That’s because it takes about 3 months for an egg to mature before ovulation fully, and this is our window to influence the internal environment—nutrients, inflammation, stress physiology, circulation, and hormonal balance. This is why I often recommend a 3-month fertility optimization plan whenever possible—whether you’re trying naturally or preparing for IVF, IUI, or embryo transfer.

And after birth, postpartum care is one of the most important (and most overlooked) phases. My goal is to help you feel nourished, supported, and rebuilt, especially if you are experiencing depletion, mood changes, low milk supply, poor sleep, or slow recovery.

It’s not only about her—male fertility matters too!

I also want to say this clearly, because it’s often overlooked:

Fertility is not just a woman’s responsibility.
In fact, male factors contribute to roughly 50% of infertility cases, and sperm health plays a major role in conception, embryo quality, and pregnancy outcomes.

That’s why I strongly encourage partners to take an active role as well—supporting:

  • Sperm count, motility, and morphology

  • Oxidative stress and inflammation

  • Sleep, recovery, nutrition, and toxin exposure

  • Overall nervous system and hormone balance

When both partners are supported, outcomes often improve—and the process feels more like a team effort (because it should be).

You are not alone in this!

If your journey has felt stressful, isolating, or confusing, I want you to know: there is support, there is a plan, and there is hope.
I would be honored to walk alongside you with care that is both evidence-informed and deeply human.
